What your
coffee actually
pays for.

A share of the profit from every Dream Bean subscription goes directly to children in our neighbourhood. Here's exactly what that looks like.

We run Hot Milk Café in Bounds Green. Our kids go to the local school, and over the years we started noticing something — some of their friends were missing out on things most children take for granted.

We're not a charity. We're a coffee shop. But we decided to build something meaningful into the business itself. A share of the profit from every Dream Bean subscription goes directly to local children who need it — no questions asked.

Below is what that's meant in practice.

Real things. Real kids.

1

Easter camp & lunch covered

School holidays can be the hardest time for families who are stretched. We've covered the cost of Easter camp places and packed lunches for children who would otherwise have spent the break at home with not much to do and not enough to eat. A week of activities, friends, and proper meals — paid for by coffee subscriptions.

2

James Mott Tennis Camp

Sport opens doors. We've sent a child to the James Mott Tennis Camp — a week of professional coaching, new skills, and the kind of experience that builds confidence long after the last point is played. Every kid deserves the chance to discover what they're good at.

3

Lunch vouchers for local clubs

After-school clubs and weekend activities shouldn't come with a side of hunger. We've supported local clubs with vouchers to cover lunches, so children can focus on the activity — not on whether they'll have something to eat afterwards.

4

Toys & games for a refugee family

When a family arrives in the UK with nothing, the basics come first — but childhood shouldn't wait. We provided toys and games for a refugee family who had just moved into the area, so their children could have something to play with, something to call their own, and a small piece of the ordinary.
